With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we know that it can be easy to dwell on the commercialization of romance that this day brings. But whether you’re heading into this holiday single or not we hope you find yourself reflecting on the very fundamental structure that the day is built upon: love.

Love can mean something different to every person – but we are all givers and receivers in some capacity. It can be platonic, romantic, familial – and sometimes it can simply be the love you have for yourself. We are reminded on this day to hold our loved ones close, and we’re grateful for this opportunity to be vulnerable, open, and genuine with the dearest people in our lives.

Regardless of whichever type of love you’re celebrating this Valentine’s Day, we hope this February 14th finds you and yours happy and healthy. And should you find yourself alone, we hope you take this as an opportunity to show some care to the most important person in your life – yourself. You are your greatest asset – and investing in yourself is always worth the time and energy.

For whoever needs to hear it, we offer a few gentle reminders: self-care isn’t selfish; you can’t pour from an empty cup. It may seem simple, but practicing self-love is the foundation that allows us to love others sincerely and wholeheartedly. Whether your version of self-care looks like sleeping in until noon, blast some Ariana Grande, face masks, cleaning your space, or a quiet afternoon to yourself – take this opportunity to indulge and treat yourself. We’re here to help you prioritize your needs and make every day feel like a gift to yourself – wardrobe organization and personal shopping are just a few of the ways we streamline and redefine your everyday. You’re worth investing in.
